I thought you were going to start making origami there for a second😂 Now that would be a side hustle😜
Lol
I have this sharpener. If I may offer some hints... You need to work only one side of the edge, until you can feel a burr on the opposite side, then start to work that opposite side. Do that a couple of times, then work up to the next grit and ceramic. Only alternate strokes towards the end of the process before the strop..
Like on a water stone?
@@WoolysWorld Yes. Also, try not to let the knife tip slip over the edge, or you could start to round it off.
@WarRadish good man, cheers

Just wait till you see what I was using this week!😂😂😂😂 Now if you only knew what to do with it!😂😂😂

Next week on woolys world…”Can we flatten this?!” ❤ - a series of flattening random objects that certainly should not be flattened 🤣 💯stay safe brother!
This sounds like a great idea
Yesssssss
Nice!!
You probably aren't using a rip chain. Standard chain is meant for crosscut or going perpendicular to the grain. Rip chain is meant for going with the grain and is made for milling lumber.
Cheers buddy
Which one will be better ? Gardena 2800s Dewalt 2kg
Interesting
Forget the jacket .how do you get that beard so thick" lol but i did just order one in that brown colour 🥂
Lol, good job
@WoolysWorld did i see a comment you dont have the active jacket anymore buddy? If so why is that
@@tadleyironwood7595 i dont have this one, i have a new one, with an oregon logo on it
If you are going live tonight, enjoy! I will be at the shore with my sister and my family!
Enjoy
so what I get from this video and I appreciate the experiment is that we aren't trying to drill through iron ore here we're just cutting wood and it can't tell the difference
Lol, pretty much
Thanks brother.. I just ordered one..
Excellent stuff
Had to replace my p.o.s. Parker Brand which only lasted just over two years. Did a bit of searching and saw the Hyundai 5 in 1. So decided to pull the trigger. When I got it, tried to put the strimmer pole into the unit, unlike yours, mine didn’t slot in. Tried the extension pole, didn’t fit! Managed to get another half way in and got it working of sorts.. was not happy! After a week of emails to the company accompanied with pics and video’s, following their instructions and RUclips channel, tried it again and it was pants! I’ve sent it back without using it in anger! Instead of just sending a new one (once tested) and collecting the crap one, no.. three weeks and my hedges and grass and trees are still growing and I have nothing to control it. Multi tools are good, my old one had the polesaw and it was a good craic but, I am tool less….. still 😡
That's crap! Mine is like that sometimes, I twist the spline with my fingers until it slots in, or I rev it z little. Hope you get sorted
Spent 20 mins after opening pulling the chord, twisting the spline et al.. I put it all back in the box and taped it up ready to send back. After this email ping pong, I went and opened it again, tried to do all the alignment again but no! It’s gone back now! They said they will try and repair it 😂 how I don’t know
@@5tanw0rr311 hope they get you a new one
@@WoolysWorld gave them the option of replace or money back! Can’t see what the problem is.. apart from the supplier
@5tanw0rr311 I always went direct
Stihl frosty.
Good man Bud
Nice! Use a few wedges to support the slab as you move down the log! And don’t forget stickers!
Cheers pat
Real men don’t need the instructions… oh wait this could just be a little dangerous,Follow the directions! And a little tip when you are cutting your planks, have a few wedges ready to help support the end you have started ripping from to lessen the pinch on the chainsaw, also stack your planks on a flat surface with “stickers” between them to dry! This will allow air to circulate between boards and help stop warping! Let air dry for 2-3 months then flip and re-stack the boards pulling the inner most to the outside & the driest edge to be placed to the inside of the stack. Happy milling!
Lol, cheers pat
Had a few , possibly the worst petrol hedge trimmer theyve made
Really! I think mine is great
How much do you use it ? I'm cutting hedges today (and most days ATM) probably 300 metres of beech both sides , tried battery powered Stihl stuff but 2 back in the shop for warranty work , one for the 5th time, wouldn't mind but I've invested about £1000 in batteries alone , but I'm only trying to make a living out of it 😎(the coil will go on the hs45) 👍@@WoolysWorld

I got a Navy Active one on the way
Excellent choice
Actually looking at purchasing this jacket. I know it was 108% plus today. Yet we also drop into some quite colder temps as well. Life in las Vegas.I I love Carhartt brand. I had one for over 20 years. Loved it. If I purchased this jacket at 58 years of age I can guarantee this will be the last cold weather jacket I buy in my lifetime.
This is z great voat
Idk why, but the idea of doing this as a workout and a way to release some stress popped into my brain. So this is how I landed here. Thank you! New sub.
Excellent stuff Bryant , great workout
Holy image quality
Lol, did not go as planned
Stihl frosty
Good man Bud
remember the old days, when new gravel roads like this would be oiled down by tankers with rear sprayers .. Mother Nature remembers.
Lol, it would work well beside the river here
Make it twice the size for twice the price and would be even better
Lol
I usually tell customers to bring one of these in for service when the oil has darkened to a brown colour, or if its been topped up a few times. And thats the other thing with these engines, they are well able to burn oil and need to be topped up regularly. Like you said, the oil capacity is small so they fry it up in no time. Great video btw, not too many people have made reviews on these
Yes indeed, they liked oil, I wish it had a bit more power, any tips for getting more out of it
@@WoolysWorld probably a bigger carb and if you have the know-how, port it(enlarge the intake and exhaust ports a little). There arent any performance parts available for these engines as theyre so small. You could try a different exhaust or gutting the current one but be careful as itll run hotter and burn up the exhaust valve. Like 2 strokes, a 4 stroke needs a bit of back pressure. Other than that there isnt much you can do. You could however try make a frankenstein of a machine and put a gx100 on there but it would require a lot of work and i do mean a lot. They have a gx57 available aswell which is in the same engine family as what you have. And should get you a little bit more power. Theres only so much you can do to these engines to modify them for power. Gimme a few mins and ill see if theres anything power-related for these online. Last time i checked there was very little
@@WoolysWorld nope, nothing there besides a different exhaust and carb for those who use them on motorised bikes which would render your machine almost unusable. Theyre mainly aesthetic parts and the carb is a gravity feed type-not good on a strimmer
@alexhickey5633 ok, cheers buddy
@alexhickey5633 cheers buddy

How far will it extend, or does it
Same as the saw I the last video
@@WoolysWorld so about 6-8 ft
@thesmallwoodlot433 about 20
I promise you Wooly, use that tool for too long and your knuckles will be scraping along the floor on your way home. Great and truly useful bit of kit, but as soon as you lift it off the harness it becomes so bloody heavy...
I'll be like popeye
I run a Stihl HR131 with the 1m extension and the hedgetrimmer head. It's a monster. But really heavy when the full rig is cutting on the flat. I'm well over 6ft and 20stone but I know I've used it for days after. I have used other brands down the years and you know what?.. when the blades are sharp they all cut as well as each other. I only chose Stihl in the end for the after service and it's longevity. Always interested in others experience of other brands though.
I know what you mean, Hyundai have a good after service
You need a A frame tripod ladder. All the feet are adjustable, do they can be used on banks, ditches etc. I use my long reach hedge trimmer from it. Gives you a greater height and is safe, as long as you are aware you are up it. ( don’t stand back and admire your work, if you are😉).
Lol, I can see me doing that

Great video and thanks for all your entertainment. I have one of these and I’m not convinced enough chain oil gets on the bar. It’s gravity fed and on mine you have to Truro it upside down to get the oil to get on the bar. What’s your thoughts?
